Description
A waterside site in the heart of Bristol's beautifully redeveloped dockland area, linked by ferry to the lively city centre. The SS Great Britain, once the largest ship in the world, is moored nearby.
The site has both electric and drainage hook up for tourers, toilet and shower block and also a launderette on site. Gas cylinders are available on site and there are facilities for both walking and wheelchair disabled.
For families there is the Zoo and the Downs Park, a safe place for young children to play in and an ideal picnic spot.
Shops and restaurants are found in the surrounding area of Bristol.
Access to cycle paths including the Bristol to Bath cycle path. Boat trips available. Open top site seeing bus tours adjacent to site - discounted tickets available. Also golf and water sports are located within 5 miles of the site.
