Description

Situated between moor and sea, not far from the ancient village of Modbury, this makes a splendid base from which to explore South Devon.
It's a bit of a dilemma whether to make for Dartmoor and the silence and solitude, the tumbling streams and the long views, or go south and seek out some of the small villages of the South Hams, the tiny sandy coves and the Coastal Path which follows the south western peninsula with dogged persistence from Dorset round to Somerset.

Either way you'll win, for both are absorbing. For a shopping spree, try Plymouth.

Electric hook-up available and some hard standings. Toilet block and laundry facilities on site. Ideal for families. The site has a play area. For local activites the children will love visiting the Miniture Pony Centre. Plenty of choice in shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes in local villages. Beautiful coastline to explore, great walking on the Moors and pretty villages to visit.
