Description
The site offers both electric and drainage hook up for tourers, gas cylinders and storage pitches are available and there are some hard standings. There is a toilet and shower block located on site as well as laundry facilities. There are also facilities for both wheelchair and walking disabled.
The play facilities at this site make it ideal for children. These include a play area and football area.
Children are welcome and there is a play park on site. There are also dog walks in the area.
Shops and restaurants are located in the nearby villages.
Battle is a small, bustling town with interesting shops and a visit to the Abbey, built to commemorate the Battle of Hastings is a must. Nearby Rye, a Cinque Port, is a picturesque town with castle and cobbled streets and there is a wealth of National Trust and English Heritage properties to visit in the surrounding area. Also activities such as fishing and golf are within 5 miles of the site.
