Planted by Maze Makers Lindsay and Edward Heyes in 1977, this year we are celebrating our Jubilee! Our aMazing Hedge Puzzle is just right for games with your friends and family, like hide and seek, tag, or even kiss-chase. Find your way then play!

We have a Museum of Mazes which will surprise you – it’s hands-on fun. Think you know how to solve mazes? Think again. A thousand years ago they were solved by reading or geometry. Find out about the Babylonians and their traps, the writing on the wall and the magic behind the word abracadabra.

Fantastic puzzles are available in our shop – and more! Will today be the day you start to juggle? It’s your chance to take home some puzzling fun and share it with your friends. You can also visit our online shop from our web site.

As well as the Hedge Puzzle we also have other great activities for you, our award winning Butterfly Zoo where you can walk amongst the most beautiful creatures in their own tropical environment. We have a superb wildlife shop which is great for gift ideas for all ages.

The next challenge is to play a round of golf on the 12 hole course themed around the ruins of a roman farm villa. Score cards, clubs and balls provided. Original design with excellent all weather artificial turf playing-surface.

We have refreshments available, with indoor and outdoor picnic areas, so why not spend the day with us.

Secret Agent Shootout laser tag in the maze available from 5 years and up £3.00 for ten minute session available only to those with valid ticket for maze.
Family ticket will admit holders to the Amazing Hedge Puzzle, Wye Valley Butterfly Zoo, and 12 Hole Miniature Golf course. Amazing value!

Directions

Between Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth, follow the A40 then take the Whitchurch, Symonds Yat West turn off onto the B4164, cross over the roundabout, past the school, then 200m on the left. HR9 6DA on the sat nav.
