Description

The daily changing lunch menu might include baked cheddar and spinach soufflé or scallop, bacon and wild mushroom risotto with garden herbs to start, followed by smoked haddock kedgeree, prawns and quail eggs. In the evening, a four-course dinner might consist of ratatouille tartlet and aubergine crisps, followed by broccoli and blue cheese soup with pan-fried pheasant breast with Calvados cream for main course and warm apricot and almond tart to finish.

Directions

Take the A1 exit at Scotch Corned and head west on A66 towards Brough/Penrith. Take the second right onto the B6277 and at the traffic lights by the bridge continue straight ahead through Lartington and Cotherstone, into the Romaldkirk village. The Hotel is on the right on the green.

Opening Times

The Brasserie and Bar serves lunch each day from 12.00pm to 1.45pm.
Supper is served each day from 6.30pm to 9.30pm.

The Restaurant serves dinner each evening from 7.30pm to 8.45pm.
Lunch is served every Sunday from 12.00pm to 1.30pm.
