    Kawasaki Ki-100-1b returns to Cosford

    The Royal Air Force Museum Cosford is delighted to see the return of the Kawasaki Ki-100-1b World War Two aircraft.  After almost eight years on display at the RAF Museum in London the Japanese fighter aircraft has now returned to Cosford and is on display to visitors.  The aircraft is displayed alongside the Mitsubishi Dinah with the Museum’s collection of Second World War aircraft.

    Born Monday 13th February the latest very rare addition to South Lakes Wild Animal Park is one very cute Pygmy Hippo. Mum Quma and dad Wamburutuh have been together since they arrived as part of the European Breeding Programme in December 2004.

    Penguins have taken an early lead in this year’s Park Mascot Elections. Voting started on Saturday 11th Feb with every child through the door given a voting slip - and in true democratic fashion it's up to you to come along and listen to the candidate’s elections speeches before casting your vote as to who you think deserves to be “2012 Animal in Chief”.

    The New Year has got off to a flying start at the Royal Air Force Museum Cosford with the arrival of a Harrier GR.9A serial number ZG477.  This revolutionary vertical take-off, multi-role combat aircraft is now on display to visitors within the Museum’s Warplanes collection.
